In order to preserve the health of its workers and to diminish the levels of environmental contamination of the city, Vachagnon has adopted a new process denominated as Effective Microorganisms Technology.

"Effective Microorganism Technology" is a combination of more than eighty beneficial microorganisms of natural origin, without been modified in any way. Many of them are constantly found reaching parts of the food chain, somewhere between the nutritional chain production. The existing microorganisms in EM produce beneficial substances like vitamins, organic, mineral acids assayed and antirust, that are the source by which EM makes its work.
